"Dispatcher training is essentially how I got started in trucking. Over the past 25 years I have done hundreds of dispatcher seminars for every type of trucking company you can imagine. That dispatcher/driver relationship, for me, is literally where the rubber meets the road in trucking."

Drivers
Here’s what Dan has to say about talking to drivers.

Hear it From Dan

(Transcription of audio)
"I'd rather talk to a room full of drivers than anything else I could think of. I've spoken to hundreds of safety meetings; safety awards banquets; driver gatherings of all kinds. I always tell a bunch of jokes and stories; make certain they are having a good time but mainly I strive to make them proud of who they are and what they are doing. Truly our drivers are the heartbeat of who we are and they need to know that."
